We are delighted to share the programme for the EIT 2021 conference. Due to the unavoidable virtual nature of the event, there are changes compared to the ‘real world’ version of the conference.

Please note this programme is now final.

The programme overview is shown below, and is also available as a PDF version.

  • The full programme is available here as a PDF version.

Some important points to note:

  • Due to the international nature of the conference the two main conference days will be split in two main Blocks (0900 – 1215 BST, and 2100 – 0015 BST). For context, Arizona is – 8 hours from Ireland, and Seoul is + 8 hours.
  • Each Block will be have two Sessions and in each Session:
    • (1) Oral Presentations Session
    • (2) Rapid Fire Oral Presentations Session
  • Each Block will be streamed on repeat 6 hours after initial showing (i.e. 1500 and 0300 BST) to allow international delegates ‘catch up’.

  • Delegate submissions accepted as Oral Presentations will be invited to submit:
    • A 10-minute pre-recorded presentation as mp4 at 1080p quality.
      • This is to mitigate against the possibility of tech problems with a live presentation.
    • A powerpoint or PDF file of their presentation.
  • Delegate submissions accepted as Rapid Fire Oral Presentations will be invited to submit:
    • A 3-minute pre-recorded presentation as mp4 at 1080p quality.
      • This is to mitigate against the possibility of tech problems with a live presentation.
    • A powerpoint or PDF file of their presentation.
  • In both cases, after each set of presentations, there will be a 10-15 minute live Q&A with questions more than likely moderated through a chat system.

  • Concurrent with the rapid-fire sessions will be virtual booths run by the conference sponsors.

  • At the midpoint between blocks on the Monday and Tuesday there will be workshops as well as cultural events to give you a (virtual) taste of Ireland.
